Fil the great
by Tina
Before Islam conquered Ancient Persia/Iran (633 AD), elephants were called "Fil". After the entrance of the Arabs to the land, elephants were called "Fil", since the letter P did not exist in the Arabic language. The name of this beaded bracelet, Fil the Great, represents the enormous size of this cute elephant connector in comparison to its beads.
